Very well done, especially the explanations and honesty presented in the book about things like loss of some fitness during a peak taper periods It also gave great depth to the why s behind each type of workout, where many books simply tell you what to do with some explanation but don t fully describe the reasons and philosophy behind each type of workout Joe Friel is the gold standard in triathlon writing for a reason.
